Overview: A classroom is designed for training, seminars, and presentations, with the capability to display both digital and analog sources in high quality. The presence of a divider wall allows the room to be split into two separate classrooms for independent meetings, ensuring resources can be exclusive or shared depending on the configuration.
Synopsis of Solution Design
- Staffing: The AV system will primarily be operated by corporate training staff, human resources personnel, higher education professors, and managers. Ensuring the system is user-friendly is essential for effective operation.
- Display & Audio Requirements: Each divided room will be equipped with a lectern featuring:
Inputs: One HDMI, one DisplayPort, and one analog VGA input for presenters.
Display System: Each room will have a ceiling-mounted projector with a motorized retractable screen on the front wall. The projectors can operate independently to display different content in each room or can be synchronized to show the same content when the rooms are combined.
- Sources: The system will include:
Central Equipment Area: Two cable TV receivers and two Blu-ray players will be located in a central equipment area, enabling access from both classrooms.
Signal Support: All inputs will support signals up to 4K resolution. Cables will be integrated into the lectern work surface for easy access.
- Audio Requirements:
Distributed Audio Systems: Each divided room will have its own distributed audio system that can function independently or together, depending on the room's configuration.
Audio Sources: Each video source will provide stereo audio, and each lectern will be equipped with a wired gooseneck microphone to facilitate voice amplification within the respective rooms.
- Control Requirements:
User Interface: A simple and intuitive GUI will be designed for ease of use. Each lectern will have a control surface enabling users to:
- Power the system on and off
- Select input sources
- Adjust volume levels
- Control the Blu-ray player and cable TV receiver
Mobile Device Integration: The system will provide secondary control options via mobile devices, allowing for additional flexibility in managing presentations and audio-visual content.
Conclusion:
This AV solution design caters to the versatile needs of a multi-configuration classroom environment. With a focus on user-friendliness, high-quality audio-visual capabilities, and flexible operation modes, the system ensures that training sessions, seminars, and presentations can be conducted efficiently and effectively, whether in single or combined classroom settings.
